Scott has been helping people build and implement financial planning strategies for more than 12 years. He started his career in financial services with Aviva Plc in 1998 as a mortgage adviser and financial planner. He and his family moved to Singapore in 2004 to pursue their dream of living offshore.

Scott specialises in personal and group financial planning, staff benefit schemes and pension planning.

Jason Grant, Vice President

Regional Manager SE Asia, Scottish Development International

Jason graduated in Aquatic Bioscience and Microbiology (Glasgow) before moving to Oxford, undertaking research and design developing industrial biosensors. From Oxford he then went on to work with the Office of Science and Technology and the Department of Trade and Industry managing the BIO-WISE programme.

In 2003 he returned to Scotland, joining Scottish Enterprise to work on the commercialisation of Scottish academic research. In 2005, he joined Scottish Development International becoming their Life Sciences trade advisor for Asia. Since 2009 Jason has been the Regional Manager SE Asia for Scottish Development International. Based in Singapore, his role focuses on establishing lasting relationships between SE Asian and Scottish organisations across all sectors.

Carolyn Lints, Secretary

Carolyn is a Legal Director of the full service UK law firm Hill Dickinson LLP. She has been with Hill Dickinson since March 2010, having worked previously at a local Singapore law firm, and prior to that was a partner at a law firm in Scotland. Combining technical legal expertise with local knowledge and experience, Carolyn works with organisations from the UK and South East Asia to deliver cost-effective legal advice, and provide access to Hill Dickinson's full range of UK-based commercial legal services - from non-contentious transactional work through to all forms of dispute resolution.

Carolyn's practising certificate is for Scots Law and she is a member of the Law Society of Scotland.

Half Scottish and half Singaporean, Mike has worked in the energy industry in Scotland and for the last 4 years in Singapore.

He has been travelling back and forth between the two countries for the last 30 years and lives in Singapore now with his wife and son.

Mike is also a member of the St. Andrews Society in Singapore.

Jennifer Hamilton, Committee Member

Born and raised in Glasgow, Jennifer moved to Singapore over 3 years ago after a number of years in international banking in London, Dubai and New York, She works as a Senior Manager at PwC where she specialises in Risk and Capital Management and Post-Merger Implementation.
